SEA.AI alerts you of any floating obstacle on your course – large and small – day and night.
The systems – formerly known as OSCAR – are designed to detect hazards at sea that cannot be detected by radars, AIS or sonar. SEA.AI computes input from lowlight and thermal on-board cameras to provide a digital understanding of the vessel’s surroundings on the water. The system’s artificial intelligence uses latest Machine Vision technology, best-in-class deep learning capabilities and an ever-growing proprietary database of millions of annotated marine objects.
SEA.AI detects and classifies objects, including those that escape conventional systems such as Radar or AIS: People overboard, unsignaled vehicles like jet skis, inflatable boats and kayaks, floating obstacles like tree trunks or containers, buoys, etc.
Comprehensive optical and thermal camera setup, complemented with a powerful external processing unit. Longest detection range, widest detection angle and fastest detection frequency improve performance in unfavorable sea conditions. Object tracking and manual panning/tilt support 360o perimeter surveillance both at anchor and under way.

Detecting Floating Objects at SeaAs soon as the system detects a floating object, it identifies and tracks the course and distance of the object. If the course collides, the SEA.AI system warns the crew and protects the ship from danger.
View MoreThe COMPETITION 640 is our first class collision avoidance system for the competitive sailing crew. The system was tested and developed in cooperation with the greatest ocean racers. Equipped with high-resolution thermal cameras, housed in a light and UV resistant case, the SEA.AI system detects, identifies and continuously tracks floating objects. In case of risk it warns and potentially saves the crew and sailing yacht from hazards.
